Our speaker for the 2016 Norfolk Lacemakers Lace Day
A lacemaker for over 40 years and in the past the Chairman of the Lace Guild. Gwynedd Roberts current role is as Honorary Curator looking after the Guild's lace collection. The Lace Guild's collection contains over 16,000 objects, including bobbins and tools for lacemaking, and has been a registered museum since 2001.
She has taught lacemaking and the identification of lace, in England and overseas. Gwynedd is an authority on all forms of lace, lacemaking and its history.
